1 · The app

Overlord AI is an AI guide companion for PC games. The app watches your game (with your permission) to show tips, directions and answers on screen and by voice. It runs beside your game on Windows or Linux, and it needs an internet connection and an Overlord AI account, because answers, game research and the voice come from our cloud service.

The app watches the screen you choose to share, only while a game is running, and reads some game save and settings files without changing them. It doesn't read or change game memory, doesn't change game files, doesn't inject code into a game process, and never sends key presses or mouse movements to a game. It's built for single-player games and isn't meant to give anyone an advantage in competitive online play.

You must be at least 13 to accept this licence. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian accepts it for you.

2 · Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on PCs you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, while you have a free trial, Founder Access or a paid plan. The app is licensed, not sold.

• A Subscription covers one PC at a time. Pro covers up to three PCs on one account.
• Your licence is tied to your account and key, and it can't be moved to another person.
• The licence covers the app as it is. It gives you no right to a feature, guide or platform we haven't released.

3 · What you may not do

1. No reverse engineering. Don't decompile, disassemble, decrypt or modify the app, or try to get its source code, except where the law allows it.
2. No sharing or reselling. Don't sell, rent, lend, share or sublicense the app, your key or our guides.
3. No automated play or unfair advantage. Don't use the app, or build anything on it, to play a game for you, or to gain an unfair advantage over other players in competitive online play.
4. No breaking game rules. Don't use the app where a game's, store's, platform's or competition's rules forbid outside help, or in breach of any law. Following those rules is your responsibility.
5. No getting around limits. Don't get around the free trial, the PC limits or the fair-use limits.
6. No removing notices. Leave copyright and licence notices in place.

4 · The free trial

The free trial is the full app for 30 minutes of use, counted only while the app is open. It needs an account but no card, and it ends by stopping, not by charging. One trial per person, checked by account email and a device identifier. During Founder Access (until 15 November 2026), every plan is free.

5 · Third-party components and services

The app is built on other people's software and services. Naming them doesn't mean they endorse Overlord AI.

Open-source components keep their own licences, and where a licence requires a notice to travel with the app, it does. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Overlord AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher, and the app doesn't ship any game's assets.

6 · Updates

We release updates that may add, change or remove features. Some updates may be needed to keep using the cloud service. Game guides change as games are patched and as we correct them. This licence covers updates unless an update comes with its own terms.

7 · Our property

The app, our game guides, the Overlord AI name and the rooster mark belong to us. You may say that you use Overlord AI, but you may not use our name or mark in a way that suggests we endorse you. You may not copy, republish or train an AI model on our guides.

8 · Your data

Your saves, screenshots and gameplay are yours. The app sends screen frames, and your voice when you press F4 to ask, to our cloud service to answer you, and our service doesn't store them. The Privacy Policy describes every data flow and your rights, and it wins if it and this licence ever differ about data.

9 · Support

Email support@overlordai.co. We aim to reply within two business days. Support covers the app we publish, on a plan or trial from us, on Windows and Linux.

10 · Warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the app and our guides are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Answers come from AI models and can be wrong. We can't promise the app will always work or that a publisher won't take action under its own rules.

Nothing here removes rights you have under the mandatory consumer law where you live.

11 · Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability under this licence is limited to what you paid for Overlord AI in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or lost profits or data. Nothing excludes liability that can't be excluded by law.

12 · Termination

You can end this licence at any time by uninstalling the app and cancelling your plan. We may end it if you break section 3, after telling you why where we can. When it ends, the app stops working for your account. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy. Sections 7, 8, 10, 11 and 14 survive.

13 · Changes

We may update this licence. The date at the top shows the current version. For a material change we'll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using the app, you accept the new version.

14 · Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live lets you claim in your own courts.
