Where to Find Every Shell in Mortal Shell II
Shells are the bodies you possess in Mortal Shell II, and some of them are easy to walk right past. Overlord's Atlas has seven of them mapped. Here's where each one is, what you have to do before you can take it, and what it's good at.
Harros the Vassal (Forlorn Village)
Follow the central path through Forlorn Village to a lone egg. Interact with it to enter Undermether's vision, then commune with the kneeling knight to take Harros. He's a balanced warrior shell, with Stone Stun and the Harden defence.
Tiel the Acolyte (Mushroom Village)
From the Mushroom Village Beacon, head east out of the village to a wooden gate lit by two torches. Tiel is on the corpse next to the large tree there. Tiel is the agile one, with passives that boost critical damage.
Proxima's Shell (Blackridge Pass)
From the Blackridge Pass Beacon, go northwest until you find a cleansed beacon. Proxima's shell is in it. It brings agile movement talents and passives that pull extra coin.
Eredrim (Citadel of Penance)
Eredrim is a boss reward. From the Citadel of Penance Beacon, drop into the central arena, beat The Warden, then inspect the corpse on the ground. Eredrim is the tank of the set, with a huge health pool. Against The Warden, time your dodges around his jump attack and stay close so he can't use his wall leaps.
Gragu (One-Legged Wolf Tavern)
Gragu needs the Heart of Vatra first. From the One-Legged Wolf Beacon, cross the wooden bridge east into the Temple of Vatra, climb the central staircase and take the Heart from the statue. Back in the tavern, talk to Gragu, give him the Heart and interact with his body. Gragu heals with the Revered Hearts he earns from kills.

Lazlo (Royal Crypt of Mammon)
From the High Lord's Courtyard beacon, take the stairs up to an air current and ride it. Go down the stairs on the right into the Royal Crypt of Mammon, defeat Vellen, High Lord of Mammon, and inspect the corpse in the chamber straight ahead. Once you have him, maxing Lazlo's Fireproof Armor perk makes fire-heavy enemies and bosses far easier (IGN's review, 3:20).
Genessa the Wayward (Obsidian Vault)
From the Obsidian Vault beacon, walk to the central altar and cleanse the beacon. That revives Genessa, a warrior shell you can possess.
None of these Shells is missable, so if one slipped past you, you can still go back for it.
