Where Is the Heart of Vatra in Mortal Shell II?
The Heart of Vatra is a key item, the pulsing heart of a god, and it's what unlocks the Gragu shell back at the One-Legged Wolf Tavern. It's in the Temple of Vatra in Fainweald, right next door to the tavern. It isn't missable, and you only need to find it once.
Rest at the One-Legged Wolf Beacon
The One-Legged Wolf Tavern has its own checkpoint, the One-Legged Wolf Beacon, so that's your starting point. The tavern area links to Gloomshade Grove, the Stones of Remembrance and the Temple of Vatra.
Cross the bridge into the Temple of Vatra
From the beacon, head east and cross the wooden bridge. It takes you straight into the Temple of Vatra.
Climb the central staircase to the statue
Go straight up the temple's central staircase. The Heart of Vatra is on the statue at the top. Take it from there.
On the way: the Berserker's Stone
Halfway up that staircase, turn left into a side room. Light the three candles inside and the offerings chest opens, with the Berserker's Stone in it. It's a Tarstone socket gem that raises your damage when your health or posture is low.
Back to the tavern for Gragu
Head back to the tavern, talk to Gragu, give him the Heart and interact with his body to take his shell. Gragu is a warrior shell that heals with the Revered Hearts he earns from kills.
While you're in the tavern
Behind the musician on the left side of the stage there's the Troubadour's Lute, a sidearm that confuses enemies so they attack the people next to them. A friendly drunkard hands out a free Common Moonshine, and giving it to the belligerent drunk in the corner gets him talking. The Barkeep at the counter sells consumables like the Hand of Rock, and you can ask him about Gragu too.
Gragu is one of seven Shells in the Atlas for this game. The full list, with where each one is, is in the Shells guide. See every Shell.
